The Contrarian Effect of Magazine Covers on the Market

I've always been fascinated with anecdotal evidence so there's a whole range of different things like if a country builds the tallest skyscraper in history that country tends to experience a financial crisis very shortly after. People would just cherry pick magazine covers in hindsight and go like look at the bottom this Business Week thing said this or whatever. The Economist is more about geopolitics and political economy and stuff like that they don't talk about markets that much. If you can find a strategy that works 65% of the time and pays 1.2 to 1 it still works out of sample.
