I shortened my backswing, not that that works all the time, but it produces better results. If I were to give 100 players an intervention, how much would it fix them? So something like slowing down shorten in the backswing. Like you said, it might work, but it not always. You could do more direct things such as change the grip and affect the wrist angles at the top. But most of the science and research says that that is one of the worst type of focus that you could have. The internal body focused attention.
