Nihilism is that the argument is make peace with those things, and accept that you never had control of them anyway. It's existential dread, existential angst, such a social threat,. That I'm either alive or I'm not, and anything that makes me not alive makes me scared. And how I interpret nihilism when I work on it with clients is more of like the depressive mode of that. Which is nothing has meaning, so I'm in a sleep for 12 hours a day and lay in the dark and not try because who cares?
