Is Philosophy Not Doing Women Justice?
There is a lot of discussion going in the united states about why women are so little reflected in the field. I'm sure that women have as much philosophical talent as men, but there are a lot of a social circumstances that militate against it. For exampleit became a very popular game or mode of philosophizing at some point some decades ago, to engage in a really combative style. And some o speculated that that might not appeal to many women, given the socialization of women. Although it's probably more the case that the lack of confidence shown by various people in higher positions in the field may have discouraged a lot of women as well.
