Toxic masculinity is a fear, a fear that you will be rejected. I always felt very vulnerable because of an element of violence and alcohol. My experience of growing up within the white working class was always an element of fear. So to know that it's actually the testimony of women, of female writers and directors was, for me, creatively, really inspiring. Do you think casting agents? Cast nations, they do. Yeah. And I've never been able to do that. Danny Dyer or Ray Winston are much more successful in portraying charismatic men like those from Bethnal Green who come from East End.
