The Priorities for an Independent Left

An independent left would have to consciously break from the popular front strategy and try to develop a socialist political project. And that means first and foremost breaking with the Democratic Party. Not just like voting green or something like that but truly no longer conceiving of the project for an independent left. It would be actually seeking to gain political power for the working class against the capitalist political state and the capitalist order.
