Introduction

The National Lung Cancer Screening Trial was published in the New England Journal of Medicine a few years ago. This study was looking at CTs for x-ray for lung cancer screening. There was also advances in CT technology then that allowed to have CAT scans but with reduced radiation exposure. So this opened the door for more systematic screening using CTs.
