The Neuroscience of Substance Use Disorders

I've kind of a little bit of everything up and down the East Coast to the middle. I started studying the neurotoxic effects of MDMA or XSE on the serotonin system as an undergrad in Massachusetts. Then moved from there to Winston Salem North Carolina where I did my PhD at Wake Forest School of Medicine. Two years ago, I started my own lab at Vanderbilt University in Nashville Tennessee looking at neural circuit control of decision making.
