What Are Your Key Thoughts on How to Get From Here to There?
When I was Bishop of Durham I saw this quite a bit that we'd be sharing some best practice and people who'd had an initiative locally. Ordinary local Christians doing things which made the power brokers in the local government sit up and take notice. The church as we wrongly say punching above its weight um but projects which it's what Grace Davy the sociologist calls cascading grace. Two or three people who get together with an idea and prayerfully try a particular thing when it then seems to have an effect trickles out, he says.
