The good news for afghans is that the death and misery of civil warl will diminish. But it comes at an extremely steep price. And a lot of the progress we've seen in afghanistan in the last 20 years is going to go away. So i would say where you stand on this very much depends on where you live. If you're some one living in the middle east, you're facing a lot of danger.
The attack outside the Kabul airport on Thursday was perpetrated by an extremist group that doesn't think the Taliban is extreme enough.
