The Trial of George Holiday
The trial of the four police officers began on March 5th, almost a year to the day after they'd been caught on tape beating Rodney King. Perspective jurors who thought the cops in George Holiday's video tape used excessive force were eliminated. The jurors who remained were more open to the officer's version of offense and included one Latino, one Asian American, and 10 white people. On the questionnaires, eight of them expressed strong support for law enforcement.
