The Unique Challenges of Indian Railways

It's too simplistic to say that because of the track the derailments are more on Indian Railways. Nowhere in the world you operate 24-coach train. Longer the train, say some wagon or some coach will pick up my track irregularity. That is our culture. We cannot blame it on the thing. The same CAG report also talks about mechanical faults and something as they termed as bad driving and overspading among others.
