Ortognality in the Factore Set Framework

Orthogonality is equivalent to independence. When two partitions are ithognal, you should expect that, like, if you come in and tweak one of them, it will have no effect on the other one. In factore set framework, ortognality means they do not have a common factor. And so wherelike, these factors can be thought of as like sources of randomness or sources of somethingif they do not share a common factor, then they are, in some sense separated.
