The average age at which people start their illustration career is mid-20s. Lee: I think everybody else, either when you're really young or older than that, always feels a little self-conscious about it. Singh Joon worked on episode three as a character designer for Star Wars and worked on a bunch of other stuff while he was in his 40s. You don't have to be like this phenom who's drawing everything at 17 and getting into art school in your early 20s or late teens and just diving into it. If you have that interest and if you have that time and ability you can pursue it.
