The Problem With Existential Risk
If the human race is going to be wiped out by an existential risk I would guess that it's one we don't know about and EA type decision making is only diverting us from that. "All problems are parochial it's only solutions that are universal and general so when you're thinking about how to prevent people dying of malaria for example or prevent people from starving" he says.
