The Consequences of Conservative Beliefs
John Avlon: Conservative ideas and conservative governments don't always go together. He says people's political beliefs often are the consequence sometimes of other things about their life situation. The apparent success of a certain part of the elite, he says, is one reason that some adopt conservative beliefs. "Of course it's always going to come with worse outcomes as you're putting it," Avlon adds.
