Don't Take Feedback Personally

Don't make your team feel like they i can't come to you openly and honestly. Character matters just as much as performance. Don't take anything personally, don'te assumptions, and always do your best. No jerks rule: You could be the most capable person in a company but if you're stepping over people or behaving in a way that flies in the face of the stated company values then you are probably not a good fit for them.
