Scarby and Lyra

One of my least favourite passages is from that story. It's the same paragraph three times in a row, just with different words. I hated it anyway. We really haven't talked about him being in tarbeand i don't know if we want to or not. He could have gone back to the forestd and lived quite peacefully on his own for three years - but he didn't. But why did he stay there for three years? And so i think this is a really common thing for a lot of us,. where there are things that we know we should changead even little things like going to bed way too late.
