The Real Queen Charlotte, Inside the Real Bridgerton Court by Catherine Kurzen

If you live in Charlotte, your town was named after Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg Stralets. Cincinnati is the queen city not because of a queen person, but because it was called the queen of the West. The hospital that she had been supporting through those Queen's balls that were held every year as fundraisers in 1923 changed to Queen Charlotte's maternity hospital and midwifery training school.
