The Importance of Vulnerability in Pastoral Ministry

I think that's one of the reasons why I've noticed in increasing places when I'm visiting churches, it's less and less infrequent that I hear a pastor say, I've been in therapy. It doesn't really begin to touch on the crises and trauma that people may have experienced along the way through actually doing pastoral ministry. Too many great leaders or at least we've been encouraged to see great leaders have, have evidently in a very public way experienced mental health challenges.
