The Power of Colonization

I think colonization happens when there's a power dynamic at play and we normalize and absolutize one way of seeing saying you know seeing Jesus and interpreting Jesus then we say that is the absolute way Jesus was. A lot of these pieces of colonization or how we culturally embed or contextualize Jesus they're not in the scriptures, he says. "We weaponize it to other someone and to bolster our own sense of superiority right" I'm sort of a piscopalian that's what I tell people I'm not a member but I've been going to piscoll churches for now a dozen years as part of my spiritual journey.
