The Good News Is That God Gives Us a Repentant Heart

The good news is that god gives us a repentant heart. What it want, to be clear, god's not after you just being a moral person. And so we need to make sure that it's not our religious idolatry that comes after our hearts. To be a person after god's own heart doesn't mean you perfect. David was an adulterer. He was a murderer. But jesus identifies with him on i'm going to sit on the throne of david in heaven. I mean, extraordinary. Why? Because his heart was for god.
