The Dead Body in Insomnia
"I have a bet with myself about how late I can have the dead body show up in each of the books in my series," Jen Lancaster says. "There is a dead body in the first chapter, but it's in a dream." In Insomnia, he sees the dreams of the last person he made eye contact with before he goes to sleep. And so he's dying of sleep deprivation.
