The Privacy Implications of Self Hosted Search Engines
Star page is a company that aims to be privacy preserving and that does care about t privacy ecosystem as a whole. If you host something like serix or hogl at home, you're not really gaining privacy from the search engine that is underlying that. Like hoogle is using gool search results. So there's definatly some privacy implications that people need to understand what they're getting.
