What Choices Have You Made Early on in Your Career?
CNN's John Sutter talks to Dr. Am about his early career, and the choices he made that have guided him in the right direction. He was frustrated when a government-funded hospital with poor health care didn't make an impact on mortality rates. So he went out into the community for advice: What do you do when your child is sick? And what did they say? It wasn't a lack of recognition or education; it was people waiting too long to see their children.
