The Impact of the First World War on Sky
The scottish highlands were the wash het by the first world war in terms of casualties and deaths. The mountains that are there all over the highlands, up there, and on the west coast and semting on sky, are just the stumps, the jagged, broken teeth left behind from a mountain range once greater than the himalaya. So old or not, up close you can feel the pain of the mountain. You can feel the grinding down that that it endures. As i say, 33 miles, the 87 from calikin, and you get to portreetree's lovely.
