i like to bring this together for students is to just oppose the broadest global force. The sort of financialization of our economy, movement away from industrial towards financial wealth,. You can see the same types of pressures being put on china to d regulate its economy to allow a similar type of financialization as well. So with those students, i think, rather than talking ry farry about all these global forces, i like to think about it through concrete, specific situations. I sometimes only half jokingly say, would have loved tohave been a philosopher, but i'm not that bright. And purely abstractly. But both for me and i imagine the students that i'm teaching
