The Evolution of the Sacred

The notion of the sacred obviously helps if certain religions have been somewhat like the highest fertility numbers. It's possible for a subculture to value fertility highly enough that if it were isolated from the rest of the world, it could manage to support higher fertility. Problem is the world as a whole is in a culture that supports elements that are discouraging fertility and that these subcultures are not insulated enough from that.
