The profound effects of climate change could limit the growth of the industry. Many buyers still prefer to deal with physical samples but 3D sampling is certainly gaining popularity. And while it forms a small part of the industry's overall carbon footprint these green initiatives aren't just acts of altruism. They ultimately make business sense.
