The Paradox of Returning to the Office
The value of being in an office or a trading floor is that the way you absorb information is based on a three dimensional process called sense making. Small teams with high levels of social capital generally can replicate their communication online because they know each other well. Large groups who don't have that level of social capital struggle precisely because of the lack of institutional information exchange. And it's going to matter when we all go back to the office.
