"It started all sorts of conversations at all sorts of levels and that was really all I really wanted it to do," says Ruby. "I have a rainbow lanyard,. I have a rainbow NHS badge, sometimes I wear my rainbow jumper at work just to really represent for my patients and my colleagues being a surgeon in particular", she adds. 'Most people don't pay attention or ask a couple of questions about it, which I actually think is quite nice but it's not seen as a big deal as such'
