Precarious Labor Is Good at Creating a Dodile Workforce
If you want an efficient work force, give them a level of security and treat them fairly nicely. On the other hand, precarious labor is really good at creating a docile labor force because it's really hard to join a union. People who arein precarious jobs don't get involved in political parties or neighborhood groups as they have no idea where they're going to be next year. Is there a sense that something more sinister is going on, tis that we're being kept busy so that we don't ask bigger questions? I mean, if you look at a lot of the economic changes that have happened since the eighties, ah, they're not that economically efficient.
