The Rock Club Thing
I never thought fans were part of the equation that you go in and they cheer for you. The first time I did it, because I fired my touring agent and got a new guy. And he can get me in comedy clubs whenever I want. But the rock club thing is, my first run I did through the Midwest. It felt like every single person there,. Like, I walked out and people were like, "Why are we here? You just defined my crowds"
