i think we're all admiring the wrong people, just thinking if that's an inevitability. i'm thinking back to my time in costa rica, where i spent a year in college,. and i actually don't remember people caring or wanting or seeing things like eyephones. But it is really, you mention the word cultural. It's not just humanity. No, i think it is cultural thing. And we very, very rarely, even though we know it intellectually, genuinely envy the person that just has a simple, small house with a family that seems like they love each other.
