Is Mathematics a Derive From Logic?
i talk about this actually a little bit in my book, redeeming mathematics. Bertrand russell and albert north whitehead tried to show that you could derive all of mathematics from starting logical principles. They had to have an axiom in ifinity, they had to add that to the more strictly logical action axioms. But most people, looking at it in hindsight, think that it showed rather the reverse. It's grounded in the oneness and threeness of god.
