I wanted to talk about masculinity as seen from women who want to embrace it when we're another. So I read a lot of trans men, trans men's memoirs. And they were actually very interesting and very sympathetic in all of the cases that I read. They would say things like: "When I was a woman, my emotions were taken much more seriously." When I was a man, people just didn't care how I felt," she says.
