The 14th Amendment and the US Constitution

In 1967, the court ruled in loving the Virginia that equal protection and due process were used to strike down marriage law. The 14th Amendment was applied to make same-sex marriage legal. In Roe v. Wade, the court said Americans had a quote right to privacy by pulling text from Constitution's first, fourth, ninth, and 14th amendments. Interestingly, Bush v. Gore in 2000 was also decided using the 14th Amendment.
