Perception and Perception in Psychology

i've always been someone who's never quite sure what discipline i en at any given moment. So i'm somebody who just wanders about am finding interesting things to think about, and trying to think about them in a constructive way. We know quite a lot about ar, how the brain does vision. I mean, it's still largely mysterious, but we understand it a lot better than we understand more complicated things like how we write symphonies or come up with scientific theories. And my assumption would be, if we know how vision works, we know how other aspects of perception work, then that can be a clue how we do more complicated things.
