How to Survive in a Shower That Goes Cold

In the early days of naval medicine, you were plunging people into cold water baths. You measured body temperature and blood pressure to work out what was going on. We we found that once you get below between 15 and ten degrees celsius, you get the cold shock response. That first gasp is about two or three leters - it crosses the lethal dose for drowning.
