The Central Bank of Kenya's Discussion Paper on the Need for CBDCs
There's not a ton of evidence that developing nations are interested in signing up for CBDC infrastructure. At the beginning of June, the central bank of Kenya released their findings from a year-long discussion paper on the adoption of a CBDC. They said that despite the ongoing work from international organizations, quote, on the global stage, the allure of CBDCs is fading.
