The Little Voice in Your Head Is a Thought, Right?

We all live in a culture where we're taught about this phenomenon called thinking. How different would your entire world picture and the world picture of your people have developed if that one explanation for a general experience had been changed? We don't even come close to understanding this, this thing that unow this, this way that we jack into each other's minds and share a symbolic world that we call our culture. This is very complicated stuff, and we don't understand it very well.
