In section eight, he's talking about the contrast between the satire as an istic outgrowth of the dionesian impulse. And contrasting that with what he calls the man of culture. There's a continuity from that primordial unity all the way to the actual action on the stage. He says there's a connecting vision, grounded in that unity that goes all the way up - which might be a cardinal value. Shouldn't add.
