Borneo - The History of the Island

In china, the earliest contact with people from borneo was in the sung dynasty. Since about the ren dynasty, thirteenth, 14 centuries, chinese ships called on this land. The northern part of the island is known as east malasia and is comprised of two malay states: sarawak and saba. On the west coast, the three main sultanates that are central to our story were in sambas, pantiana and mempoa. Please refer to the map at the teacup dot media web site.
