The Ontology of Veneration in the Old Testament

For skinnies cease, the veneration given by a Christian to an icon is ontologically the same. So many people use this argument that you have pictures of your loved ones. You take them out. You kiss them. Are you an idolatier? No, of course not. That's exactly what we do. The beloved of God are beloved saints who are interceding for us. They're images of Christ actually. It is different from the worship which is due to God alone. Unfortunately, as it says here, the King James translates the Greek word proskinisis in worship with worship and latria with serve. I don't think that's actually consistent.
