If one side of the spinal cord is damaged, we know that fine touch and proprioception travel up the spine the same side that it enters. And so you're going to have issues with movement of that leg on the same side as the hemisection below. Now Dinesh, you mentioned that your injury is around C6, C5, C6. So theoretically, you're not going to have an impact in your diaphragm, your breathing muscle. But the thoracic level will have a function in breathing to move the ribs and for greater respiration beyond the passively from thediaphragm.
