I think currently what a lot of people are doing is just verifying kind of the input output behavior of these systems and maybe we can work our way to some of the internal questions. A lot of these guarantees are not like they're probabilistic in some sense um for a lot of kinds of uh guarantees that you'll get about machine learning on a lot of tasks. I don't know how much that's been explored at this point but I think it's a really important question because unless you take a pure utilitarian view of the world there are ways in which if a machine is much more reliable in terms of probability than a human I would still want the human to be doing the task.
