The Future Is a Side of Struggle

i think it's one of those moments that underscore how deeply committed to not being precious this film is because that could have easily been a moment of just pure beauty and it could have stopped the war right like i think nine out of ten filmmakers would have had a climax moment that hinges upon that. Every group wants the child because every group has its own claim on the future so we can't be passive you know. It also kind of underscores the point that the future itself is a side of struggle I think this is really important for anybody who wants to change the world.
