In its earliest days, the design engineers working on hubble in its earliest days came up with an architecture that would make it possible for people in spacesuits. Space walkers can anchor their feet at different locations on the telescope, open the doors, take things out and so on. When bruce and i are assigned to hubble in 19 85, the architecture ss some of the boxes have been given really easy to use fittings,. So you don't need a different rench or gadget for each one. But really, it was the science instruments here, gyros batteries.
