"I'm sure the ideation will probably come up again. I'll fall into thought patterns that'll say like, life sucks and it's not going to get better," she says. "It's almost like a ship in a storm. You're still trying to steer the ship in the storm but you realize that this is not doing any good." She wants mental health experts to talk more about how to deal with ongoing trauma.
