Is There a Role of Women in Economics?

Women outnumber men inalmost all, including engineering, almost all fields of study. We actually have close legened a gap in this region as it relates to education and as it relating to health. But we're still maybe ten % or 15% represented in the labor force as well. And so it's not that they don't exist, it's just that we don't know they're there. They're almost invisible. The ones that are in arcademia, in the media, and the ones who are independent economists, like you and i, were we're a rare breed, right? Lam, ones that have a public persona.
